Assistant Professor in Allergy

RESPONSIBILITIES:

TEACHING: Expected teaching duties include teaching the Allergy/Immunology fellows, medical residents and students.

RESEARCH: Participate in clinical research in the Division of Allergy and Immunology and educational research including grant writing, and other scholarly activity commensurate with experience and interest.

ADMINISTRATIVE: Administrative duties as required by the Division/Department.

CLINICAL: Will see patients primarily in the Division of Allergy and Immunology Clinical Research Unit.

OTHER: Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

Requires MD/DO or equivalent and board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. Eligibility for a full, unrestricted Florida medical license is a must. Interest in teaching, patient care, scholarly productivity, research and academics. Requires the ability to participate in clinical research and, in particular, translational asthma research. Must have completed an allergy/immunology fellowship. Will be actively in national research networks for multi-site clinical trials.
