Job Description

Stryker are looking to hire a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician/Engineer to cover the greater Dublin area in Ireland. The successful candidate will spend approx. 50% of their time at medical centres, hospitals, surgeries etc maintaining and repairing some of Stryker’s high tech equipment including defibrillators, high tech beds & chairs, and the role will cover both electrical and mechanical (to a much lesser extent) work. The rest of the time will be spent travelling between sites and visits. This work would suit someone with a strong background in working with modern electro-mechanical equipment from any discipline. Candidates need not have a background in the medical sector, but must be willing and comfortable in spending the majority of their time in hospitals or similar environments. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and organised with a high level of customer service and accountability. The successful candidate will need to be living in the Dublin area and will have full use of a Stryker company vehicle. What Are We Looking For:

What You Will Do:

The successful candidate will be a Medical Field Service Technician for Stryker based in Dublin. Key responsibilities will involve attending customer calls in a timely manner and providing a high quality level of service to all of Stryker's key customers in your specific catchment area. The ideal candidate will be someone who is self-motivated, customer focused and an excellent problem solver.

What You Need:

  • Be a good communicator, as he/she will be liaising with internal and external customers.
  • Have good organisational ability, he/she will be responsible for organising their own business.
  • Have good IT skills (office + ERP systems).
  • Preference will be shown to any candidate who has previous experience within the medical industry.
